Key responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications. Collaborate with development and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automation tools. Develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test components. Identify, log, and track defects and issues through to resolution. Integrate automated testing into CI / CD pipelines. Perform root cause analysis of failed tests and ensure consistent test coverage. Participate in test planning, documentation, and review sessions. Continuously enhance automation coverage and testing efficiency. Required Skills : 2–5 years of professional experience in QA Automation. Strong proficiency in Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar automation tools. Experience with programming / scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.G., Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI). Knowledge of CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.G., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail). Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies and software testing lifecycle (STLC). Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Experience in performance testing (e.G., JMeter, LoadRunner). Knowledge of mobile automation tools like Appium. Experience with cloud testing platforms (e.G., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Familiarity with BDD / TDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave). Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.
