Commis 2- Tandoor Cuisine

Join our culinary team as a Commis 2 specializing in Tandoor Cuisine at our esteemed restaurant in Mysuru India. We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient individual to assist in preparing authentic tandoor dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and taste.

• Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking tandoor dishes including naan kebabs and other traditional Indian specialties
• Operate and maintain tandoor ovens ensuring proper temperature control and cooking techniques
• Prepare ingredients including marinating meats and vegetables for tandoor cooking
• Follow recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and maintain consistency
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of ingredients
• Participate in kitchen cleaning and organization tasks
• Support senior chefs in menu development and special event preparations

Qualifications :

Additional Information :

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Fluency in English

Additional languages are a plus
