Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 10+ years of experience to lead initiatives focused on optimizing domain management practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining provisioning, recertification, and deprovisioning processes, along with identifying and removing stale DNS entries to enhance security and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Domain Management Process Optimization :
- Analyze existing domain provisioning, recertification, and deprovisioning workflows.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risk areas.
- Design and implement enhanced procedures and governance models.
DNS Cleanup and Maintenance :
Audit DNS records to identify and eliminate stale or unused entries.Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to validate and remove outdated records.Establish best practices for DNS hygiene and identify automation opportunities.Stakeholder Collaboration :
Engage IT, security, and application owners to gather requirements and verify domain usage.Facilitate workshops and meetings to align all stakeholders on improved process models.Documentation and Reporting :
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to domain and DNS management.Deliver regular progress reports and dashboards to leadership, showcasing metrics and milestones.Required Skills and Qualifications :
10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent role in IT infrastructure or network management.Strong knowledge of DNS, domain registration, and domain lifecycle management.Proficient in DNS tools such as Infobox, Amazon Route 53, Azure DNS, or similar.Familiarity with ITIL or other IT process frameworks.Excellent analytical and communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.Proven ability to work independently and manage cross-functional projects.Preferred Qualifications :
Hands-on experience in automation of DNS / domain management workflows.Understanding of cybersecurity best practices related to domain and DNS integrity.Professional certifications such as ITIL, CBAP, or networking-related credentials (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).Certifications Needed (Preferred) :
