Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Management : Lead and supervise a team of payroll professionals, ensuring efficient workflow, task delegation, and performance management.
- Oversee Payroll Operations : Manage and supervise the weekly US payroll process, ensuring accuracy in wage calculations, deductions, and benefits.
- Compliance & Taxation : Ensure accurate payroll tax calculations, timely filings, and adherence to federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Account Reconciliation : Monitor payroll accounts, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Employee Records & Support : Maintain accurate employee payroll records and address payroll-related inquiries efficiently.
- Reporting & Analysis : Generate and distribute payroll reports, summaries, and MIS reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Team Coordination & Process Management : Collaborate with US GMs for smooth onboarding, terminations, and status changes.
- Process Improvement : Implement payroll best practices, drive automation, and enhance efficiency.
- Training & Development : Mentor and train team members, fostering skill enhancement and professional growth.
- Legislation & Compliance Updates : Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and ensure the team follows updated policies.
Qualifications
Leadership & Collaboration : Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Education & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in US payroll operations.Regulatory Expertise : In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.Technical Proficiency : Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and strong Microsoft Excel skills like VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, Pivot table & keystrokes for payroll reporting.Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.Detail-Oriented & Accurate : High attention to detail, ensuring precision in payroll processing and reporting.Organizational & Time Management Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting strict payroll deadlines.Confidentiality & Integrity : Commitment to handling sensitive employee payroll data with the highest level of integrity and discretion.Application Process : Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience to ([HIDDEN TEXT])
