IT Business Analyst - ETRM / CTRM Domain

Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3-7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in energy trading (power, gas, LNG, renewables). Strong understanding of the end-to-end energy trading lifecycle, including front office (deal capture), middle office (risk), and back office (settlements). Experience with ETRM / CTRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro, RightAngle, EnTrader, etc.). Familiarity with market regulations and reporting standards (e.g., REMIT, EMIR). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience working in Agile / Scrum or hybrid project environments. Experience with energy market data providers (e.g., ICE, EEX, Platts). Knowledge of physical and financial energy products. Exposure to data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI). Understanding of scheduling and nominations in energy markets.
We are hiring for IT business analyst into ETRM Or CTRM domain experience.
- BA experienced in Credit Risk processes such as Collateral Management, Margining, counterparty exposure risk management.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to manage exposure reporting requirements
- Interface with business and document Business Requirements
- Work with Technical teams translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Data analysis using advanced excel functions (hands on with SQLs)
- Experience in implementation of credit systems such as Energy Credit or CubeLogic (or any other credit risk management product)
- Experience in data mapping for system migration
- Experience with Energy Trading System (Aligne / Endur)
- Experience with Databricks, data pipelines etc is good to have.
