Role / Job Title : Senior Product Sales Manager-Trade Sales-Corporates
Function / Department : Wholesale Banking
Job Purpose : This role entails responsibility for planning, directing and supervising the activities of staff in Wholesale Banking Operations, ensuring compliance with established procedures and guidelines, delivery of quality internal customer service and protection of the Bank from operational risk.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales :
- Identify and engage with Indian corporates, MNCs, startups, and foreign investors needing ECB, FDI, or ODI advisory or compliance services.
- Pitch structured solutions and consulting offerings to clients in line with RBI / FEMA regulations.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets for advisory and execution mandates.
- Client Relationship Management :
- Build long-term relationships with CFOs, finance heads, legal and compliance teams of client organizations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on inbound and outbound capital flows.
- Advisory Collaboration :
- Coordinate with internal legal, regulatory, and structuring teams to propose compliant and optimized solutions for :
- ECB – raising foreign debt
- FDI – foreign equity inflows
- ODI – Indian investments in overseas JVs / WOSs
- Documentation & Compliance :
- Educate clients on RBI / FEMA compliance requirements (e.g., Form FC-GPR, Form ODI, LRN filings, etc.).
- Liaise with banks, RBI, and regulatory bodies as needed for execution support.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting :
- Stay up to date with changing RBI / FEMA regulations, international tax, and structuring trends.
- Submit sales pipeline and status reports to the leadership team
Educational Qualification
Graduation : Any graduate
Post Graduation : Any post graduate
Experience : 10-18 years of experience in capital account sales.
