Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle SCM professional who understands solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product / technology family and Can Lead and support business teams during implementation and support phases. Must be able to Operate independently to provide quality work products to customer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle EBS and Fusion projects, from requirements gathering and design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Should have very good Integration knowledge (Integration between SCM and Finance modules or third party systems)
  • Collect and analyse business requirements for the SCM units of the Customer.
  • Write business requirement documents and other functional related documentations via OUM / AIM methodology.
  • Identify functional gaps and provide corrective actions.
  • Respond to the customer queries and concerns promptly.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet customer specifications.
  • Provide ERP functional consulting & Training at customer sites.
  • Provide suggestions to configure the Oracle applications for optimum utilization.
  • Work with documentation team to develop user guides and training materials.
  • Perform daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
  • Lead and manage a team of Oracle SCM EBS / Fusion Cloud consultants.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (Internal and External).
  • Should be well versed with SLAs / KPIs / Governance process.

Key Skills

  • Oracle EBS 12.1.X / 12.2.X
  • Order Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing, P2P Process, O2C process.
  • Oracle Fusion - Oracle SCM Cloud, Product Data Hub Cloud, Inventory Management Cloud, Procurement Cloud, Order Management Cloud.
  • ASCP / Supply Chain Planning : Sales and Operation Planning, Demand and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Manufacturing : (Discrete & Process), Inventory and Cost Management, Work in Process, Bills of Material, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Purchasing, and iProcurement.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud OTBI, BI Publisher, and other Reporting tools is a strong plus.
  • WMS and MSCA Development experience is strongly preferred.

  • Act as the Domain expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.
  • Comply with all coding standards and performance measures, as per customer / organizations guidelines.
  • Contribute to internal trainings within team, as a part of team scaling up activity.
  • Develop and utilize supporting metrics to plan, execute, track, and pivot, as necessary.
  • Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
  • Effective stakeholder management including the internal as well as external stakeholders for the project.
  • Engage with the functional teams for requirement gathering / understanding and to convert functional specifications to technical specifications.
  • Lead a team to deliver the expected business results.
  • Participate in testing activities along with functional counterparts and provide quick resolutions.
  • Provide direct reports ongoing development, feedback, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Specialized knowledge of customers' business domain and technology suite.

    • Projects Documentation

  • Has In-depth understanding of documentation involved in Project like BBP & Solution Design, FS etc.
  • Able to build into require project documentation and can do a Peer review for team members documents.

    • Domain / Industry Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of customers' business processes and relevant technology platforms / products.
  • Ability to prepare process maps, workflows, and business cases with application of industry standards and practices.
  • Creation of medium to complex business models.

    • Functional Design

  • Specialized knowledge of solution design, scope analysis, and building blocks for business cases.
  • Identifying key business drivers and translating them into solution components
  • Creating diagrams from use cases and updating design specifications
  • Understanding functional specifications and designing flexible solutions
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to explain the solution approach
  • Offering solution options based on research and coordinating process playbacks and reviews for business solutions.

    • Requirement Gathering And Analysis

  • Specialized knowledge of requirement management processes and requirement analysis processes, tools & methodologies.
  • Extract requirements for complex scenarios and prototype independently.
  • Identify modules impacted, features / functionalities impacted and arrive at high level estimates.
  • Develop traceability matrix and identify transition requirements.

    • Test Management

  • Able to perform unit testing & perform comparison testing for rehosting, report testing status and create iteration, system integration test plan and develop integration test cases as required.
  • Execute automation test scripts / manual test cases as per test plan, record findings and DIT Test Cases against the baseline code provided.
  • Identify, report and document defects identified and perform defect fix / deviations from expected results
  • Create test cases, test scenarios and test data and perform Development Integration Testing.
