Job Description

This is a remote position.

As an Area Sales Manager (ASM) at Cookd, you will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring smooth distributor operations, and expanding Cookd’s presence in retail stores. You will own the sales targets for your assigned region and make sure the right products are always available for customers.

Key Responsibilities :

Achieve monthly sales (primary billing) targets and ensure timely payment collection.

Monitor SKU performance, identify low performers, and drive corrective actions.

Benchmark against competitors and grow Cookd’s share in blended masalas and biryani kits.

Provide accurate SKU-wise monthly sales forecasts and align distributor orders with market demand.

Identify one micro-market each quarter to grow and improve sales performance.

Maintain healthy stock levels at distributor and super stockist points, and prevent stock-outs of top 10 SKUs.

Requirements

Graduate / Postgraduate in Business or related field.

5+ years of experience in FMCG or Retail Sales.

Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, sales tracking apps, and reporting tools.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Requirements
