IT Manager (Storage & Backup)

Responsibilities :

Lead a team of Storage and backup administrators, providing guidance and mentorship.Set goals, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets the bigger team objectives.Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other global IT teams to complete project work.Engages with all levels of management and key stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage support and operational objectives.Identify and incorporate future service management needs into a well-considered multi-year roadmap across the support areas.Identifies, constructs, and implements plans to remove friction in the day-to-day operation.Lead the culture of continuous improvement by identifying projects, initiatives & getting the business or leadership engagement and deliver them.Contribute to Operation Reviews of IT services covering Customer Satisfaction, SLA performance, and Operational metrics.Producing regular and accurate service management reports and dashboards for the leadership team.Manage internal customer relationships with leaders across the technology organization.Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute, and implement new plans or programs. Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etcSupports achievement of performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.Building the organizational capacity necessary to execute the strategy.Skilled in generating custom reports / dashboards and Knowledgebase documentation.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems).

OR

Bachelors degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ year of IT-relevant experience.

OR

High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant experience.

2+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with programming (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).

1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores.
