IT Manager

DIATOZ is looking to hire an IT Manager who coordinates, plans, and leads organizational computer-related activities. They help determine the IT needs of an organization and are responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization's information systems requirements.

Duties and responsibilities :

• Serves as a technical expert in system administration for complex operating systems. In large companies, this requires understanding a global or multi-office network infrastructure
• Lead and assist teammates in various IT-related functions and keep them motivated
• Design, install, and configure internal and customer-facing servers, network devices, and firewalls
• Design and implement monitoring, configuration management, and reporting functions that will make a hands-off environment
• Helps develop, document, communicate, and enforce a network technology policy
• Is responsible for installing and configuring new software and hardware, including the server network, devices, and firewalls, and setting up and managing VPN tunneling.
• Setting up on-prem and cloud data center(s), monitoring, dashboard, server health check, periodic optimization
• Strong troubleshooting ability on Windows and Linux RHEL, IBM standard applications, network, printer, and VPN issues.
• Is responsible for monitoring system performance, IT system operations, and storage utilization
• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
• Plans ahead for necessary hardware or software upgrades to support system growth
• Manages user accounts and assets and assigns and updates security permissions on the network according to security policy
• Provides support with escalated help desk requests
• Led a team of systems administrators and coordinated with different departments
• Mentor team members and educate users
• Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations. Mentor / cross-train team members on existing and new technologies
• Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum qualifications :

Experience -

Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
