Infrastructure - Storage Engineer

( Candidate with Strong NetApp storage skills )

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain NetApp ONTAP storage systems (FAS, AFF, or hybrid arrays).
• Perform storage provisioning, volume / LUN creation, exports, and shares (NFS, CIFS / SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
• Manage aggregates, snapshots, clones, and storage efficiency features (deduplication, compression, thin provisioning).
• Monitor storage performance, capacity utilization, and health using NetApp OnCommand / Active IQ tools.
• Implement and monitor backup / recovery strategies using Snap Mirror, Snap Vault
• Implement Ransomware protection and Anti-Virus scanning on the Storage systems
• Perform Ontap upgrades, Disk / Shelf / SP firmware upgrades
• Automate provisioning and reporting tasks using PowerShell, Python, or NetApp APIs.
• Storage logs forwarding and management with Splunk
• Perform storage migrations and hardware tech refresh
• Troubleshoot hardware / software issues with NetApp systems, escalating to vendors when needed
• Work closely with server, virtualization, networking, and application teams to meet infrastructure needs.
• 5+ years of experience on Storage
