Able to recognize and make trade-offs with respect to the whole system. Capable of debugging the most complex problems that the team encounters. Anticipate technical issues at the product level and make architectural and design decisions to avoid them Staffing, onboarding, Skill building, Back-up Planning Employee Satisfaction Mentoring and coaching team members Handling appraisals and feedback Contribute to organizational initiatives and activities that would benefit from knowledge / skills possessed by the individual as well as help the individual grow in terms of area of influence & potential partnership needed beyond the business unit. Expertise in enterprise architecture and system design Experience with data mesh architecture Comprehensive knowledge of modern data platforms and technologies Expert-level understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake) Advanced knowledge of data security, data governance and compliance frameworks Expertise in data strategy development and execution Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices in data space Strong experience with enterprise integration patterns Agile / Scrum methodology experience Strong leadership and presentation skills required. Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Must have the desire to learn new technology and continuously grow. Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both It and non-IT partners. Some travel may be required, including overnight stays. May be required to provide on-call support. High ownership and accountability for delivery quality, performance, and reliability. Clear stakeholder communication with options, trade-offs, and data-backed recommendations. Mentorship mindset, collaborative, pragmatic problem-solving and strong documentation.
Responsibilities
Plan, manage and deliver projects / initiatives as per business objectives. Lead 1-2 Data teams to deliver value to the business.
Delivery Manager - Data 11+ years of experience in data engineering to provide expert guidance to meet end-to-end delivery of data management services. This role involves playing the subject matter expert on data strategy and understanding the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product requirements and lead to solutions that take all the needs into account.

- Planning and estimation, scheduling, task allocation, monitoring & control, reviews
- Build engineering culture principles within the team. Demonstrate complete understanding & ownership of the product. Enable and facilitate adoption of required skills based on the product needs for self and team. Create forums or gather data for team to gain customer perspective.
- Relationship Management and Partner Satisfaction
- Establish and continually improve project management and execution processes including Risk Management, communication, defect management & prevention

This position reports to : Program Manager (Principal Consultant)
Direct Reports : Consultants, Associate Consultants and Trainees
Qualifications
Education : Graduate - Bachelor's degree (any stream).
Experience : 11+ years of IT experience with 1 or 2 years in delivery management is recommended. Experience is not a constraint for the right candidate.
