We are seeking a Zonal Priority Pre-Sales Manager to be a critical link between the Zonal Sales team and our company's solutions. This role is designed for an experienced professional with a strong technical background and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance, develop tailored solutions, and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Needs Assessment : Provide guidance and training to your team to ensure they have a deep understanding of our products. You will translate customer needs into specific solution requirements and collaborate with technical teams to design and present solutions.
- Proposal Development : Develop and deliver customized proposals, including pricing and technical specifications. You will also prepare and present product demonstrations and proofs of concept ( POCs ).
- Sales & Product Support : Assist sales teams with developing sales strategies, provide technical expertise during sales calls, and help draft responses to RFPs and RFQs . You will also train the sales team on new products and features.
- Relationship Building : Act as the primary technical liaison for customers during the sales cycle. You will build strong relationships with key decision-makers and serve as a trusted advisor to both the customer and the sales team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate with product, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible. You will also provide technical feedback from customers to help improve product offerings.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Track and report on pre-sales activities, forecast potential sales, and provide input into the overall sales strategy.
Required Qualifications
Experience : 12-14 years of field sales experience selling industrial products / capital goods . The candidate should have a strong sales background from an Indian or multinational company.Education : A degree in Engineering is required.Skills : Must possess strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor and provide valuable insights.Skills Required
