Role Profile : IT Manager

Job Description :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive technological advancements and ensure seamless operations

Role & responsibilities :

1. IT Infrastructure Management :

  • Plan, implement, and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network systems, and telecommunications.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
  • Manage IT budget and procurement processes.

2. Technology Strategy :

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

    • 3. Project Management :

  • Oversee IT-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

    • 4. IT Support :

  • Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests.
  • Manage the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
  • Develop and implement IT support procedures and documentation.

    • 5. Data Security :

  • Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive guest and hotel information.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.

    • 6. Team Management :

  • Lead and develop the IT team.
  • Set clear goals and performance expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

    • 7. Preferred Candidate Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, hardware, software.
  • Proven ability to manage IT projects and budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • Desired Skills :

  • Experience with property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality-specific software.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and visualization technologies.
  • Experience in implementing IT systems in a multi-site environment.
