Key Responsibilities
Execute sales activities at the industrial level, ensuring achievement of assigned sales targets.
Manage and support existing dealers and customers to strengthen relationships and grow business volumes.
Identify, develop, and onboard new customers across relevant industries.
Expand dealer network by identifying and appointing new channel partners in line with business strategy.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to provide actionable insights.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit control norms.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical discussions, and provide solutions aligned with customer needs.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, accounts, service) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Education : Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience : 3–6 years in industrial consumables sales.
Preference for candidates with proven experience in welding consumables .
Strong knowledge of industrial customer requirements and dealer management.
Proficiency in sales reporting, MS Office, and CRM tools.

Knowledge of industrial consumables, especially welding consumables (electrodes, wires, gases, abrasives, etc.). Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings / specifications to align solutions. Dealer / channel management know-how (pricing, margin, schemes, territory handling). Sales forecasting, pipeline management, and use of CRM or reporting tools. Understanding of credit control and payment collection practices. Prospecting and generating new business leads in industrial markets. Negotiation and closing skills for both direct customers and dealers. Strong presentation, product demonstration, and persuasion ability. Territory management and planning for maximum coverage. Market intelligence gathering (competitors, pricing, new entrants).
