Application Support Analyst - L1 & L1.5

Project context

We are seeking a six month to 2 years experience SAP functional technician that will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and support of SAP users. This role focuses on incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, escalation and performing Non-regression test.

24x7 - This role demands to work in monthly rotational shift (Follow the Sun hours (US, EU, Asia) adaptation)

Goals and deliverables

Objectives of this role

Provide level 1 support in the areas of SAP with basic knowledge of transaction codes

Provide technical support, training and troubleshooting to end-users for SAP.

Should be able to monitor the SAP jobs in SM35, SM35 and Idoc processing etc

Basic bug fix and troubleshooting of failed jobs

Re-run of the jobs which are ended up in error

Collaborate with clients to make them understand of SM and level 1 activities

Perform Non regression testing during the monthly releases.

Education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field.

0.5 -2 years of experience in supporting SAP functional areas.

Functional Knowledge of SAP FICO / MM / SD / PP / QM / EHS / LE / PM and other major modules.

Interface knowledge with SAP and Non-SAP systems.

ITIL certification

Skills and behavioral competencies

Relevant certifications like SAP Certified Technology Associate and SAP Certified Development Associate.

Aware of the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work individually and collaborate with a team.
