Product Manager / Scrum Master - Agile Methodologies

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Agile Product Manager / Scrum Master to lead product development initiatives and drive the successful delivery of software solutions.

The role involves working closely with stakeholders to define product roadmaps, managing product backlogs, guiding Agile teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a proven background in Agile product delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

Agile Leadership & Scrum Management :

Act as Scrum Master and / or Agile Coach for one or more teams, ensuring Agile principles and practices are followed.
Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove impediments to team progress and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Product & Backlog Management :

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.

Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.

Ensure the backlog is well-maintained, transparent, and aligned with business goals.

Roadmap & Delivery :

Define and manage product roadmaps in alignment with stakeholders.

Oversee development and delivery of high-quality products and / or programs.

Monitor product progress, delivery timelines, and ensure releases meet agreed objectives.

Stakeholder & Governance :

Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities and expectations.

Manage product governance processes to ensure compliance with standards and business objectives.

Report on product performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

People Management :

Lead and mentor a team of developers, product owners, or product leads.

Encourage collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.

Support professional growth and performance management of team members.

Required Technical & Professional Skills :

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Experience with Scrum Master or Agile Coach responsibilities.

Proficiency in Java development concepts and understanding of software engineering practices.

Experience in Product Management, including roadmap planning and backlog management.

Knowledge of product governance and quality assurance practices.

Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).

Understanding of software delivery lifecycle and DevOps practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Agile Coach certification is preferred.

Prior experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master in a technology-driven environment.

Soft Skills :

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple initiatives.

Collaborative and adaptive mindset
