Job Title : Senior Project Manager

Experience : 8+ Years

Job Location : Bangalore

Skills (Must Have) :

  • SAFe Certified Scrum Master (SSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager, preferably in the banking domain.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks : Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
  • Proven experience in project management, delivery tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
  • Experience leading SAFe Agile Release Train events (e.g., PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums).
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams, resolve dependencies, and remove impediments.
  • Experience supporting Product Owners with Feature and Epic prioritization and planning.
  • Skilled in delivery tracking, milestone planning, and KPI definition.
  • Capable of maintaining risk logs and preparing status reports for senior leadership.
  • Strong communication, documentation, facilitation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Skills (Good to have) :

  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience managing distributed or remote teams.

    • Role & Responsibility :

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Reviews, PI Planning, etc.).
  • Guide teams on Agile / Scrum practices and help them continuously improve.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure backlog is well-groomed and prioritized.
  • Track and report on team progress, risks, and impediments using Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Remove impediments to team progress and foster a high-performing team environment.
  • Manage scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business and client expectations.
  • Drive process improvements and promote Agile best practices across the organization.
  • Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and RTEs in a SAFe environment to manage :
  • Bachelors / Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
