We are looking for a P& L Owner who will drive our Business in Loans & Credit Cards category
CreditMantri helps consumers and small businesses improve their Credit Health & Credit Scores. In India, usually, over 80% of loan applications are rejected by the lender. Credit Mantri's aim is to help this underserved consumer understand the reasons for loan rejection, take charge of their credit health and get access to better credit products & services. The platform helps these Credit Invisible consumer segments to take charge of their credit health and take better borrowing decisions.
CreditMantri is a profitable Fintech headquartered in Chennai, founded and run by a team with extensive experience in world-class financial services organizations. We are a Fintech intermediary with a Direct to Consumer platform with a registered user base of over 20 Mn consumers on the Demand side. We work with 60 plus lenders on the Supply side. Lenders on the platform include PSU Banks, Private & Foreign Banks, NBFCs, Fintech lenders and P2P lenders. We have been a market leader and innovator in this space and amongst many things take the credit for being the first to launch the concept of a ' Free Credit Score' in the country.
Responsibilities :
- Build & Scale the Personal Loan portfolio and launch new revenue streams like Credit Cards & Business Loans
- End to end ownership of sourcing and Portfolio quality
- Construct a strategy and manage relationships with lenders – banks, NBFC's, small finance banks, etc. for growth by improving disbursals and conversions.
- Provide ideation and thought leadership and ensure high levels of productive client engagement with lenders. Be seen as a collaborative thought partner in building business with top lenders
- Create new opportunities with lenders, and aim to being recognized internally and externally as an expert in helping the business thrive in the new digital world of credit evaluation
- Provide inputs to technology and operations team for process changes, tech enhancements to make the process more customer friendly and straight through
- Operate as the point of contact for all matters on the referrals channeled to the lenders

12 to 15+ years' experience in handling Personal Loans / Business Loans portfoliosStrong understanding of NBFCsExcellent grasp on portfolio dynamics across sourcing & PAR metricsStrong problem-solving skills – creating new markets, customer relationships and solutionsGood people management skillsGood number crunching skills and general aptitudeActivities performed by the team :
