Job Purpose : This role has core focus on Employee Relations, managing the delivery of Employee Relations strategies.
Principal Accountabilities :
- Support Head of ER, HR Directors & Partners and Station managers on a wide range of employee relation issues, labour law and court matter.
- Execute the ER policy, processes, and tools to deliver required changes at all levels of the organisation
- Set direction, create policy and offer expert advice in all matters relating to collective bargaining and industrial relations issues.
- Identify current & potential risks at stations and evolve plans to mitigate.
- Build ER skills and expertise across the stations, including capabilities in labour legislations.
- Co-ordinate and integrate all ER activity across the business into a coherent plan
- Support and align cultural and behavioural change necessary for all ER programmes
- Foster strong links with external networks and share best practice in the field of Employee Relations.
- Handle labour dispute between employee and company, as a liaison to labour officials
- Manage the compliance tools and assure the data sanctity with due compliance.
- Analyse & evolve the existing ER monitoring systems, using new digital platforms.
- Responsible for updating self on the changes to labour laws, arbitration / court decisions and anything else that may affect union-management relations or employee-management relations.
