Key Responsibilities :
- Complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
- Maintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Promote optimum staff performance through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
- Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and existing customers.
- Ensure availability of merchandise and services by approving vendor contracts.
- Formulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities and authorizing clearance sales and promotions.
- Market merchandise effectively through advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
- Secure merchandise by implementing and monitoring loss prevention and security systems.
- Protect employees and customers by maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
- Ensure legal compliance to maintain store reputation and stability.
- Determine and implement marketing strategy changes by analyzing financial and sales performance reports.
- Lead store operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational procedures and standards.
