Retail Fit-Outs : Project Manager

Experience : 6 to 10 years

Location : Delhi

About the Company :

The Fashion Entrepreneur Fund is an initiative by FEF India Fashion Awards, spearheading a Venture Studio. A platform providing financial support to budding fashion enthusiasts to turn their dreams into reality. It is an "amalgamation of fashion and funding." FEF was founded by Sanjay Nigam, the torchbearer of the Indian Fashion revolution in June 2021. The company has a target to open 100 retail stores, and each store will be a multibrand store.

Position Overview : The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of design and renovation projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure retail projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate will have end to end responsibility of Designing, execution and launching new stores.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Planning :

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and

stakeholders.

2. Vendor Management :

  • Responsible for design, tender management & execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure client requirements and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead project meetings and facilitate communication among team members.
  • 3. Budget Control :

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Monitor expenses and make adjustments as necessary to stay within budget.
  • 4. Quality Assurance :

  • Ensure all work meets design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • 5. Reporting :

  • Provide regular project status reports to clients and management.
  • Document project progress, changes, and outcomes for future reference.
  • 6. Prelaunch and launch activities

    What we are looking for :

  • Proven experience in managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of interior design trends, materials, and construction methods.
  • Should be able to work on BOQs and engineering specifications
  • Should understand the vendor bidding and selection process and help identify right contractors
  • Should understand quantity surveys.
  • Should be civil engineering or architectural background with 6-10 years of experience.
  • Experience in retail industry would be an added advantage.
  • Should be ready to travel to site locations to supervise work
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, architecture, Civil Engineering, , or a related field.
  • Should have high passion & working in early-stage startups.
