Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership :
- Provide academic and professional leadership to the School.
- Lead curriculum development, implementation, and periodic review in alignment with university standards.
- Ensure programs meet accreditation requirements and professional benchmarks.
- Promote high-quality teaching, skilling, and research activities.
- Align programs with current industry demands and workforce needs.
- Drive regular revisions of course offerings through external reviews and feedback.
Administrative & Compliance Duties :
Ensure compliance with UGC norms and university academic policies.Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design industry-relevant certifications and programs.Manage the School's annual budget and operational planning.Ensure all departmental operations adhere to university governance and policy frameworks.Contribute to institutional goals including admissions targets and strategic initiatives.Faculty & Student Management :
Supervise faculty recruitment, performance evaluations, and professional development.Facilitate faculty upskilling, research output, and industry certifications.Mentor students and promote academic engagement, extracurricular participation, and industry readiness.Foster an inclusive and progressive academic culture for both faculty and students.Industry Engagement :
Partner with hospitality and tourism industry stakeholders to enrich course delivery and exposure.Organize workshops, conferences, and outreach initiatives to strengthen industry-academia linkages.Facilitate on-the-job learning and live industry projects for students.Identify and align certifications to enhance student employability.Invite industry experts for seminars, masterclasses, and guest lectures.Skills Required
