Main Purpose of the Role
The Territory Business Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, analyzing, and developing new business opportunities within the assigned territory. This includes conducting detailed market research, assessing feasibility, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring brand presence, with the ultimate goal of achieving sales targets and supporting the companys strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies to evaluate alternative business development opportunities.
- Collect, compile, and analyze financial, competitive, sales, and marketing data to provide accurate insights for senior management decision-making.
- Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve primary and secondary sales targets while ensuring strong brand visibility.
- Supervise and manage the distributor / dealer network to drive market penetration and ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and information packages for meetings with clients, distributors, and potential business partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, supply chain) to ensure alignment of territory goals with overall business strategy.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to recommend strategic initiatives for growth.
- Manage credit notes, product expiries, and other distributor-related issues in line with company policies and ethical practices.
