Territory Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Professional to join our dynamic team, focusing on Electronic Products, Test & Measuring Instruments, and Data Acquisition Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of driving sales in the Defence sector, especially with experience working alongside DRDO labs.

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your industry expertise to drive business growth and strengthen our presence in the Defence ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets aligned with company goals.
  • Drive business development activities specifically in the Defence sector, identifying new opportunities and markets.
  • Manage and nurture major accounts and projects within DRDO labs including RCI, CHESS, DRDL, ANURAG, DMRL, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build, sustain, and enhance strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Lead pre-sales and post-sales activities, providing technical and commercial support as needed.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Defence sectors unique needs and procurement processes.
  • Conduct thorough customer and competitive analysis to anticipate market trends and respond proactively.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, and customer meetings.

Required Skillsets and Experience :

  • 8 to 10 years of proven experience in Defence Sales or relevant Product Sales.
  • 3 to 5 years experience with sales focused on DRDO labs and other Defence R&D organizations.
  • Strong expertise in selling Electronic Products, Test & Measuring Instruments, and Data Acquisition Systems.
  • Demonstrated skills in Business Development and Negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Account & Relationship Management, with a track record of managing key Defence accounts.
  • Ability to conduct detailed Customer & Competitive Analysis.
  • Competence in Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with Defence stakeholders.
  • Master's or Bachelor's in any related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience working directly with DRDO labs or Defence PSUs.
  • Understanding of Defence procurement policies and tendering processes.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the region for customer engagement and support.
