Job Title : Regional Sales Manager
Main Purpose of Role :
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the designated territory while leading and supervising a team of professionals. The role involves developing strong customer relationships, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies, and mentoring team members to achieve business objectives. This is a first-line management role, focusing on coaching and coordination, typically without direct budget or hire / fire authority.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of 2 or more sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Promote and sell the organizations products across multiple channels within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors to drive sales and market penetration.
- Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales reports, and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, supply chain) to ensure smooth product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members to enhance capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Candidate MBA (Sales / Marketing specialization Proven experience in sales management, with exposure to pharmaceutical / healthcare / FMCG domains preferred.
