Institutional Lead Analyst – Construction

Job Specification :

• Experience : 6–8 years in equity research or sector-specific analysis, preferably in the Construction sector ; strong buy-side and industry connections will be an added advantage
• Sector Focus : Construction
• Educational Qualification : MBA – Finance or CA / CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead and manage focused research coverage of the Construction sector , including real estate developers, EPC companies, urban infrastructure firms, and housing finance-linked players.

Analyze key industry factors such as urbanization trends, housing demand, real estate regulations (e.g., RERA), government infrastructure projects, labor and material costs, and contract execution timelines.

Track order book health, project pipelines, operating margins, land bank valuations, and funding strategies.

Build and maintain detailed financial models for construction companies - including historical and projected financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) - and apply valuation frameworks such as NAV-based, SOTP, or DCF models suited to construction businesses.

Provide actionable investment recommendations supported by deep sector insights and company-level research.

Build and sustain strong relationships with institutional investors such as mutual funds, insurance firms, pension funds, and private equity players interested in construction and real estate sectors.

Mentor junior analysts to develop sector-specific knowledge and strong modeling capabilities within the construction space.
