Institutional Lead Analyst – Infrastructure

Job Specification :

• Experience : 6–8 years in equity research or sector-specific analysis, preferably in the Infrastructure sector ; strong buy-side and industry connections will be an added advantage
• Sector Focus : Infrastructure
• Educational Qualification : MBA – Finance or CA / CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead and manage in-depth research coverage for the Infrastructure sector , including transportation, logistics, roads & highways, power, ports, and urban infrastructure.

Analyze macroeconomic and policy trends such as budget allocations, government capex, PPP models, NIP (National Infrastructure Pipeline), and regulatory developments impacting infrastructure projects.

Track execution timelines, order books, EPC margins, working capital cycles, and funding structures of infra companies.

Build and maintain robust financial models for infrastructure companies - covering historical and projected financials (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow), and infrastructure-specific valuation methodologies (SOTP, DCF, IRR-based models, etc.).

Generate high-conviction investment recommendations based on fundamental analysis, sector outlook, and company performance.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, pension funds, infrastructure-focused PE funds, and sovereign wealth funds.

Mentor and guide junior analysts, helping them build strong analytical capabilities and a nuanced understanding of infrastructure businesses.
