Institutional Lead Analyst – IT

Location : Fort, Mumbai

Experience Required : 6–8 years in equity research or sector-specific analysis, preferably in the Information Technology (IT) sector ; strong buy-side and industry connections will be an added advantage

Sector Focus : Information Technology (IT)

CTC : Based on candidate's experience and interview performance

Educational Qualification : MBA – Finance or CA / CFA with NISM Capital Markets Certification

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee research initiatives with an exclusive focus on the Information Technology sector .

Conduct in-depth analysis of IT industry trends, global tech spending patterns, deal pipelines, digital transformation, and competitive dynamics.

Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for IT companies - including historical and projected balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements - along with DCF or residual income-based valuations.

Analyze key IT metrics such as EBIT margins, revenue by vertical / geography, utilization rates, billing rates, client concentration, and attrition.

Formulate actionable investment recommendations based on thorough company and sector-level analysis.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients such as asset managers, pension funds, and private equity firms focused on IT sector investments .

Mentor and guide junior analysts in building sectoral knowledge and analytical capabilities in the Technology domain .
