Job Title : National Head-Sales

Department : Sales

Location : Bangalore

Role Objective :

The National Sales Head will be responsible for leading and driving the overall sales function for the NBFC across India. The role involves developing strategic business plans, expanding the company's presence across geographies, achieving AUM and revenue targets, and managing high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail lending, channel management, and the NBFC ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve business growth and profitability goals.
  • Drive sales across product lines such as Business Loans, LAP, Consumer Finance, or MSME Lending (as applicable).
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a large team of Regional and Zonal Sales Heads to ensure consistent business performance.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the company's reach.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key partners, DSAs, channel partners, and institutional clients.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with credit, risk, and operational policies in all sales activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Credit, Operations, Collections, and Marketing teams to ensure smooth business execution.
  • Set up clear performance metrics and ensure achievement of monthly and annual disbursement and collection targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, field visits, and strategy meetings with regional teams.
  • Drive digital adoption and technology-based sales enablement initiatives.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to senior management for business planning and product development.

Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of NBFC sales operations, retail lending products, and credit processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business and financial data.
  • Strategic thinker with execution excellence and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
  • Qualification & Experience :

  • MBA or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing.
  • 12-18 years of experience in sales and business development within the NBFC or Banking industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large teams and achieving business targets on a national scale.
  • Experience in retail lending segments such as SME, MSME, Consumer, or Vehicle Finance preferred.
