Role Overview :
The Sales Head will be the strategic driver of revenue growth, responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to maximize occupancy, enhance brand visibility, and achieve financial goals for our coworking spaces. This role demands leadership excellence, business acumen, and a proven track record in sales within real estate, coworking, or hospitality domains.
As the Sales Head, you will work closely with marketing, operations, and the leadership team to align sales efforts with overall business objectives, foster client relationships, and position our brand as the preferred coworking solution in the market.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy & Business Planning
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales plans aligned with company growth objectives.
- Segment the market and identify target industries, startups, SMEs, and corporates.
- Create pricing models, sales campaigns, and promotional strategies for maximum lead conversions.
- Establish standard sales processes to ensure consistent pipeline management.
2. Revenue Generation & Occupancy Management
Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling services.Set occupancy targets for each center and ensure high seat utilization at all times.Develop enterprise-level partnerships for bulk seat requirements and long-term leasing.Explore corporate tie-ups, event collaborations, and broker partnerships to increase sales channels.3. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Hire, train, and mentor sales managers, business development executives, and inside sales teams.Design incentive structures and performance evaluation metrics for the sales team.Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews to track progress against targets.Foster a high-energy, competitive, and performance-driven culture within the team.4. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at client organizations.Develop client retention strategies through personalized engagement and account management.Ensure seamless onboarding of clients with operations and community teams for customer satisfaction.Conduct periodic client feedback sessions and address escalations proactively.5. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
Stay updated on coworking industry trends, pricing models, and competitor offerings.Evaluate real estate opportunities in emerging business hubs to support expansion plans.Present monthly insights on customer needs, emerging trends, and untapped markets.6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with marketing for lead generation campaigns, brand positioning, and event sponsorships.Collaborate with operations to ensure the client experience matches the brand promise.Partner with finance for budgeting, forecasting, and revenue reporting.7. Reporting & Analytics
Develop and maintain sales dashboards for daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.Provide accurate revenue forecasting to leadership with actionable recommendations.Analyze sales funnel metrics, conversion rates, and ROI on marketing spends.Qualifications & Skills :
Education : MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration 7-12 years of progressive sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Prior experience in coworking, commercial real estate, or hospitality Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office tools.(ref : iimjobs.com)
