Job Summary :
The National Key Accounts Manager for Modern Trade is responsible for developing and managing strategic key accounts on a national level. This role involves creating long-term relationships with key accounts, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction. The manager will lead and coordinate efforts to optimize modern trade channels, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Account Management :
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive business growth(Majorly Reliance, D-Mart, Tesco and Etc).
- Ensure client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the accounts.
2. Strategic Planning :
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth.Align account strategies with overall business objectives and goals.Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.3. Sales Performance :
Achieve sales targets and objectives for the key accounts.Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management.Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies.4. Collaboration :
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities.Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.Liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.5. Negotiation & Contracts :
Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and conditions.Manage contract renewals and ensure compliance with agreed terms.Handle pricing, promotional activities, and other commercial agreements.6. Team Leadership :
Lead and mentor a team of account managers, providing guidance and support.Foster a high-performance culture and encourage continuous improvement.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG or retail industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in MS Deep understanding of modern trade dynamics and retail operations.Strong leadership and team management capabilities.Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.High level of adaptability and problem-solving skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Smart in communication & convincing skills.Additional Requirements :
