Job Description
- Technical Architecture Leadership :
- Provide technical leadership and ownership for the CRM applications within the SPACE program, ensuring alignment with L'Oréal's overall digital strategy and architectural standards.
- Define and oversee end-to-end solution architecture across CRM platforms, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain architectural frameworks, documentation, and best practices for all CRM applications.
The Successful Applicant
- SPACE Loyalty Architecture Redesign :
- Lead the technical architecture redesign for the SPACE Loyalty project, transitioning from a VM-based architecture to a modern, containerized, and PaaS-based architecture.
- Code Management and Review :
- Oversee code management for the SPACE Loyalty application, including conducting code reviews (Java), maintaining documentation, and ensuring adherence to L'Oréal's development standards.
- Ensure version control and source code management practices are consistently applied across all CRM streams.
- Microservices Optimization :
- Optimize the microservice design for the SPACE Loyalty application, leveraging Spring Cloud framework and collaborating within the CR development process.
- Lead design and development efforts for microservices architectures across CRM streams
- Application Performance Optimization :
- Lead vendor performance testing and code-level optimization efforts to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the SPACE Loyalty application.
- Implement monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
- Integration Management :
- Manage the integration of SPACE applications with other relevant applications within the L'Oréal ecosystem.
- Architect and oversee API management and middleware integrations to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
- Ensure proper synchronization and governance of customer data between CRM systems and other applications.
- Technical Support and Guidance :
- Provide technical support and guidance for other SPACE projects and ad-hoc application development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Digital, Data, Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture) to address technical challenges and ensure project success.
- Vendor Management :
- Manage key vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with L'Oréal's technical direction, project timelines, and budget constraints.
- Collaboration and Partnership :
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners at the zone and country level, including Digital, Data, Integration, Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in application development with Java and Python.
- 7+ years of experience in architecture management and technical leadership.
- Experience with CRM, Marketing Automation tools, MDM
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with Azure Cloud services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of source code / version management systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in Digital and / or eCommerce development is a plus.
