Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled male Information Technology Technician to join our vibrant team at KR Mangalam School. This full-time, mid-level role is based in Gurgaon, South Delhi, and Delhi, and requires 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the schools IT infrastructure and ensuring seamless technological operations across campus facilities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT technical support or related roles in a dynamic organization.
- Strong proficiency in network troubleshooting (Mandatory skill), with proven ability to resolve connectivity issues across multiple devices and platforms.
- Thorough understanding and experience in technical support (Mandatory skill), providing prompt solutions to hardware, software, and system queries.
- Practical expertise in managing and maintaining biometric attendance systems, including installation and troubleshooting (Mandatory skill).
- Solid knowledge of hardware maintenance, capable of diagnosing and repairing desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Demonstrated ability in printer setup, configuration, routine maintenance, and resolving common printer-related issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and maintaining smartboards and associated educational technology equipment.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple IT issues simultaneously while prioritizing academic needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide effective network troubleshooting solutions to ensure uninterrupted connectivity within the campus IT infrastructure.Deliver technical support for end users, addressing software, hardware, and system challenges related to day-to-day school operations.Install, configure, and maintain biometric attendance devices, ensuring accurate and continuous functioning for staff and students.Take responsibility for comprehensive hardware maintenance, performing diagnostics and repairs on computers and related hardware.Manage printers across the campus, handling installation, routine servicing, troubleshooting, and supply management.Deploy, configure, and provide ongoing support for smartboards and classroom technology to facilitate interactive learning environments.Document IT service requests, resolutions, and keep accurate records in compliance with school policies.Coordinate with external vendors or technical partners when advanced repair or maintenance is required, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
