To identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) and IoT (Internet of Things) domain, driving revenue growth and building long-term customer relationships. The role requires a blend of technical understanding, solution-based selling, and customer engagement skills to promote innovative IoT-driven fleet and mobility management solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the Fleet Management and IoT sectors (Vehicle Tracking, Telematics, Predictive Maintenance, Fuel Monitoring, Driver Behavior Analytics, etc.).
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, demos, and solution proposals customized to client requirements.
- Respond to RFPs / RFQs and coordinate with the technical and presales teams for solution design and pricing.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers such as Fleet Managers, Operations Heads, Transport Managers, and Procurement Teams .Act as a single point of contact for assigned clients to ensure high levels of service satisfaction.Manage client accounts for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.3. Market Research & Strategy
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive positioning in the Fleet Management and IoT ecosystem .Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted lead-generation campaigns.Provide feedback to the product and R&D teams on client needs, market demands, and potential product enhancements.4. Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with internal teams ( technical, finance, project delivery ) to ensure smooth project handovers and customer onboarding.Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records (Salesforce / HubSpot / Zoho).Participate in weekly business reviews and performance meetings with management.Required Skills & Competencies :
Proven experience in B2B sales within the IoT, Telematics, or Fleet Management Solutions industry.Bachelor's degree with 2 to 3 years of experience in IT sales industryStrong understanding of IoT-based fleet systems , vehicle tracking platforms , sensor integration , and data analytics dashboards .Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to translate complex technical offerings into business value propositions .Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced IT product environment.Proficient in CRM tools (HubSpot / Salesforce) and MS Office Suite .Skills Required
