IT Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee the entire IT infrastructure, including the setup and maintenance of office systems, networks, and security protocols. The ideal candidate will bring over 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, with a proven track record of managing office setups, supporting end-users, maintaining hardware / software systems, and ensuring data security compliance.

Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management :

Plan, implement, and manage company-wide IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal uptime, scalability, and performance.

Office Setup and Maintenance :

Lead and execute the complete IT setup for new office locations including internet connectivity, LAN / WAN configurations, server and workstation installations, printer / scanner setup, and IT asset procurement.

Technical Support & Helpdesk Oversight :

Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, manage tickets, and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.

Network Administration :

Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches), ensuring secure and stable network connectivity across departments.

Asset and Inventory Management :

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensure proper tracking, warranty renewals, AMC contracts, and periodic audits.

Vendor Coordination :

Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, ISP support, and managed services.

Data Security and Compliance :

Ensure cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, antivirus, backup strategies, and data protection policies are strictly implemented and followed.

Software and License Management :

Manage installation, configuration, and updates of business software; monitor license usage and renewals.

Documentation & Reporting :

Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolution logs. Generate regular IT performance reports for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Windows / Linux server environments
• Hands-on experience with networking tools and troubleshooting (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace administration
• Knowledge of IT asset management tools and ticketing systems
• Familiarity with endpoint security tools, firewalls, and backup solutions
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making skills
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead small IT teams
