Job descriptionOversee end-to-end management of data centres (on-premise, cloud, hybrid) ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance. Optimize IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization. Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning. Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies to protect digital assets. Establish data privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (ISO, GDPR, etc.). Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate IT security risks. Manage enterprise-wide IT hardware, networking, and communication systems. Drive standardization and optimization of IT assets and vendor management. Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management. Champion automation, cloud adoption, and modernization of legacy systems. Collaborate with business leaders to integrate digital tools across departments. Enable analytics, AI / ML, and IoT adoption where relevant to business needs. Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing IT team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning. Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and cost optimization initiatives. Strong background in IT infrastructure management, data centre operations, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP). Expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance. Hands-on knowledge of networking, hardware, and enterprise IT systems. Proven success in leading digital transformation programs. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation skills. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making abilities. Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications preferred : CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, PMP, CCNP / CCIE, AWS / Azure certifications. 15- 25 years of progressive IT leadership experience
