Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Officer with 2–3 years of experience in core HR functions including recruitment, payroll and statutory compliance, contract labour management, HRIS, and industrial relations. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and coordination skills, and the ability to ensure effective implementation of HR processes and policies across the unit.
Key Responsibilities :
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and final selection.
- Coordinate joining formalities, induction programs, and ensure proper documentation of new hires.
- Maintain employee records and update HRIS for all personnel movements.
Payroll and Statutory Compliance
Assist in monthly payroll processing and ensure accuracy of attendance, overtime, and deductions.Handle statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and maintain necessary records and filings.Coordinate with statutory authorities and consultants for timely submission of returns and inspections.Contract Labour Management
Maintain proper documentation for contract labour deployment, including agreement renewals and wage registers.Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory compliance under the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.Coordinate with contractors for attendance, billing verification, and compliance documentation.HRIS and Employee Data Management
Update and manage HRIS with accurate employee information including transfers, promotions, and separations.Generate HR reports and MIS for management review.Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all employee records.Industrial Relations & Employee Engagement
Support the HR Manager in maintaining harmonious industrial relations with workers, unions, and contract staff.Address employee grievances in a timely and professional manner.Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives, communication forums, and welfare activities.Monitor in-process and finished goods inventory levels, minimising wastage and overproduction.General HR Administration
Assist in preparing and updating HR policies, procedures, and SOPs.Support in conducting performance appraisals, training coordination and disciplinary procedures.Handle day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with company standards.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in HR / Business Administration / Industrial Relations.
Experience : 2–3 years of relevant experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, PT, CLRA, etc.).Hands-on experience in recruitment, HRIS management, and payroll coordination.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.Proficient in MS Excel, HRIS software, and documentation.Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
