Services are provided through our five main campuses :
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About Mental Health Division :
Northern Health is the third largest mental health service in Victoria Northern.

About the Role :

The Bed Access Coordinator role for the Northern Health Mental Health Division acts with delegated authority of the Executive Director Mental Health to support and coordinate transparent and collegial bed access processes within the division and for mental health consumers in the general hospital setting.
The Bed Access Coordinator ensures access to acute mental health inpatient resources is person centred, transparent and timely in support of mental health care in the right care first time and in accordance with Mental Health and Wellbeing act 2022, Northern Health protocols and values.
This leadership and coordination role requires a whole of health service view to support Northern Health in the development and maintenance of innovative and contemporary bed management methodologies.
This role is a Grade 5 Registered Psychiatric Nurse Full Time Ongoing position based at our Epping Campus.
