About the Role :
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cloud Sales Specialist - BFSI to drive cloud solution sales into the BFSI vertical.
This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and strong customer relationships to help accelerate digital transformation journeys of banks, NBFCs, and insurance companies using cloud infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and drive cloud sales across the BFSI vertical with a focus on public / private / hybrid cloud offerings.
- Understand customer requirements and present tailored cloud-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Create and execute strategic account plans to acquire new BFSI clients and grow revenue from existing accounts.
- Manage the complete sales cycle : lead generation, qualification, solution pitching, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal teams - pre-sales, product, delivery, and customer success - to deliver proposals and PoCs.
- Stay updated on cloud trends, compliance needs, and regulatory mandates relevant to the BFSI segment (e.g , RBI, IRDA guidelines).
- Prepare regular pipeline reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management review.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Proven experience (8+ years) in cloud / IT sales, preferably selling to BFSI clients.Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g , AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud).Good knowledge of BFSI domain, digital transformation, data security, and regulatory compliance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.Ability to manage CXO-level conversations and influence decision-making.Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT or related field; MBA is a plus.Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.Exposure to fintech ecosystems and BFSI IT infrastructure(ref : iimjobs.com)
