Location : Bangalore

About the Role

This is not a traditional HR role. This is a high-stakes, high-impact opportunity to be a founding team member driving the people engine of a fast-growing startup. You will work closely with the founders and leadership team and play a critical role in designing and scaling the systems, talent strategies, and culture frameworks that shape how Weekday operates. This role is for someone who wants to build, not follow. Someone who understands that great teams don’t happen by accident—they’re architected with intention, speed, and clarity. This is an opportunity to directly influence how a company scales, how its people grow, and how its culture takes shape.

Requirements

Design and implement scalable internal systems across HRIS, ATS, performance management, compliance, and payroll. Automate and streamline operational workflows to remove inefficiencies and manual overhead. Build processes from scratch that are robust, founder-friendly, and designed for scale.

Own talent acquisition end to end—define hiring strategies across functions, set up recruitment infrastructure, and lead structured, repeatable hiring processes that deliver high-quality candidates. Drive initiatives around candidate experience, sourcing systems, interview design, and closing loops. You are not filling roles—you’re building the team that will build the company.

Collaborate with leadership to develop org structures, performance frameworks, and career progression systems. Codify values into scalable rituals, feedback systems, and engagement programs. Build a company that is not only efficient, but inspiring to work at.

Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives that directly impact company trajectory. Own critical founder-priority initiatives related to culture, operations, and organizational design. Operate as a systems thinker with the ability to zoom out and understand strategy, and zoom in to execute with speed and precision.
