Job description

Key Development & Sales Leadership :

  • Identify and target new business opportunities, particularly within the home décor, furniture, and lifestyle industry sectors.
  • Build and nurture relationships with builders, purchase managers, and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Lead and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals, align strategies, and ensure the successful achievement of growth objectives.
  • Take ownership of client retention and satisfaction through effective account management and Relationship & Partnership Management :
  • Foster long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Identify new strategic partnerships that can amplify Bent Chairs market presence and drive growth.
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial deals and agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to develop customer-centric solutions and promotions.

Market Research & Analysis :

  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and leverage data-driven insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the home décor and lifestyle industry to inform business development efforts and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Collaboration & Reporting :

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, design) to align sales strategies and customer offerings.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior leadership.
  • Mentor, train, and support junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment.
  • Skills & Skills :

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, and relationship management, with a strong focus on B2B sales in a relevant industry.
  • Demonstrated success in client acquisition, sales cycle management, and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with high-level stakeholders and clients.
  • Strategic thinking and proven experience in strategic planning and partnerships.
  • Knowledge of home décor, furniture, and lifestyle industry trends and the ability to leverage market insights for business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and optimize sales strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects and priorities.
  • A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience working with builders and purchase managers in the home décor or lifestyle sectors.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software to streamline workflows and client communication.
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing or mentoring sales teams.
  • Experience in key account management and high-level negotiations.
