The Learning & Development (L&D) Operations Manager is a strategic and execution-focused role responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of L&D initiatives across the organization. This role manages vendor relationships, budgets, learning programs, L&D technology platforms, and performance metrics. A key focus is on leveraging data, systems, and feedback to continuously improve the learning experience and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management
- Source, evaluate, and manage external training vendors and partners.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with procurement and legal standards.
- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong, collaborative relationships.
- Budget Monitoring & Management
- Develop and manage the L&D budget in partnership with Finance and HR.
- Track and report on expenditures, forecasts, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Ensure financial discipline and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Learning Program Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and logistics of learning programs (virtual, in-person, hybrid).
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align programs with business needs.
- Manage communications, scheduling, and learner engagement.
- Collect and analyze participant feedback to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
- Continuously refine programs based on data insights and evolving organizational goals.
- KPI Monitoring & Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators for L&D initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reports for leadership and stakeholders.
- Use data to drive decisions and demonstrate ROI of learning programs.
- L&D Technology & Learning Management System (LMS)
- Administer and optimize the organization's LMS and other learning platforms.
- Ensure accurate course setup, user management, and reporting functionalities.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements.
- Stay updated on emerging L&D technologies and recommend adoption where relevant.
- Library Management
- Maintain and curate a centralized digital and / or physical learning library.
- Ensure resources are current, relevant, and accessible to employees.
- Implement tagging, categorization, and search optimization for ease of use.
- Monitor usage patterns and update content based on learner needs and feedback.
- L&D Document Repository Management
- Maintain a centralized, organized repository of L&D materials, policies, and records.
- Ensure accessibility, version control, and compliance with data governance standards.
Implement best practices for documentation and archival processes.

Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).10+ years of experience in L&D operations, program management, or HR.Strong project management and organizational skills.Proficiency in LMS platforms, Excel, and data analysis & visualization tools.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesSkills Required
