Job Summary :
The Curriculum Architect & L&D Expert will lead the design, development, and implementation of experiential, project-based learning curricula focused on Makerspace innovation, Woodworking, Mechatronics, and Robotics. The role requires deep understanding of spiral curriculum principles, technical pedagogy, and hands-on learning methodologies to ensure skill progression from foundational to advanced levels.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between education design, engineering / technical skills, and maker culture, fostering innovation, creativity, and applied learning among learners.
Key Responsibilities :
Curriculum Architecture & Design
- Develop spiral, scaffolded learning pathways for woodworking, robotics, mechatronics, electronics, and digital fabrication.
- Create competency maps and learning progressions that build conceptual understanding and technical mastery over multiple levels.
- Integrate STEM principles, design thinking, and problem-solving into each learning module.
- Design project-based learning (PBL) modules, capstone projects, and maker challenges aligned with real-world applications.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards, safety protocols, and 21st-century skill frameworks.
Learning Experience Design
Combine hands-on workshops, digital learning content, and collaborative projects for an engaging hybrid learning experience.Develop detailed lesson plans, facilitator guides, assessment rubrics, and student workbooks.Integrate Maker tools and technologies such as 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, sensors, and pneumatics.Embed iterative learning and reflection practices throughout the learning journey.L&D Strategy & Implementation
Build and manage the training-of-trainers (ToT) program for educators, mentors, and technical facilitators.Conduct learning needs analysis to identify gaps in technical and maker education delivery.Implement frameworks for competency assessment, skill certification, and learner portfolio development.Collaborate with industry experts, universities, and innovation hubs for content validation and project partnerships.Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Integrate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, automation, robotics simulation tools) into the learning ecosystem.Apply data-driven evaluation and learner analytics to improve learning outcomes.Experiment with new formats—hackathons, maker fairs, design sprints, etc.—to enhance experiential learning.Qualifications & Experience :
