Role Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations in the Bengaluru region. The role will focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening channel and customer relationships in alignment with the companys strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Planning & Target Achievement :
- Develop and implement effective area-wise sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor and review performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Dealer & Distributor Network Management :
Appoint and manage a robust dealer and distributor network in the assigned territory.Ensure efficient inventory levels, timely order processing, and seamless delivery management.Drive channel engagement initiatives and loyalty programs.Market Development & Penetration :
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and institutional segments.Conduct regular market analysis to stay abreast of trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.Develop actionable insights for pricing, product placement, and promotions.Customer & Key Account Management :
Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, builders, interior designers, and contractors.Manage high-value clients and institutional buyers to drive repeat business and project conversions.Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and post-sales support.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong sales acumen and negotiation capabilitiesIn-depth understanding of the tiles / marble / building materials industryChannel and stakeholder management experienceStrategic planning and analytical reporting skillsHigh accountability with a result-driven approachExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)5-7 years of relevant experience in B2B / B2C sales within building materials or allied sectorsProficiency in regional languages will be an added advantage(ref : iimjobs.com)
