Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager / Senior Manager Sales with strong expertise in B2B media sales. The role focuses on driving revenue from print, digital, and event sponsorship sales, managing key accounts, building strong corporate and agency relationships, and ensuring business growth for BW Businessworld & its communities.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Generate and collect revenue through ad sales for print, digital, and sponsorship sales for events.
- Build and maintain strong connects with corporates and agencies in Bangalore and the South market.
- Achieve revenue leadership across BW Businessworld & its communities.
- Acquire new clients while ensuring retention and growth of existing accounts.
- Develop and grow 5 key accounts with a year-on-year growth target of 30%.
- Conduct competition mapping and share insights for revenue strategies.
- Drive profitability and ensure achievement of business targets.
- Maintain strong control over accounts receivables with a focus on advance collections.
- Take independent initiatives to build pipeline and maximize opportunities.
- Cross-sell community events, products, and integrated solutions to clients.
- Share daily and weekly updates, client meetings, and progress reports with management.
Required Skillsets
Proven experience in B2B media sales with strong corporate and agency connections.Strong network in Bangalore and South India markets.Excellent track record in ad sales (print, digital) and event sponsorship sales.Strong business development and client relationship management skills.Ability to achieve revenue targets and manage profitability.Skilled in competition analysis and market mapping.Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently with a result-driven approach.Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and sales reporting.Bachelors / Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.(ref : iimjobs.com)
