Job description

Job Title- L2 Support Engineer

Experience- 4-10 years

Location- Bangalore(WFO)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide advanced technical support for all major operating systems, including Windows, macOS, Linux, and others.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Manage and resolve system and networking issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and patch management.
  • Collaborate with team members to manage and support IT infrastructure projects.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems and devices.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices for future reference.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as an L2 System Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of major operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues on various devices.
  • Experience with network troubleshooting and management.
  • Familiarity with system security practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in team management and mentoring is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified : Windows Server) are advantageous.
