What You Will Do

  • Setup and configuration management of ELK & Datadog. Maintenance of the same and take care of any incident report for the ELK & Datadog application & services.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to Azure infrastructure, Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, Kafka, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide long-term solutions for recurring issues.
  • Work with ticketing tools like JIRA and VFIRE platforms to track and manage incidents, service requests, and change requests.
  • Support deployment activities, configuration management, and system updates in a production environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, developers, and network engineers, to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Automate routine operational tasks and improve system monitoring and alerting mechanisms.
  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

What You Need :

  • Must Have :  Experience in  ELK, Datadog, Azure, Linux (RedHat / Ubuntu), Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience in : Managing and troubleshooting of ELK & Datadog systems.Managing and troubleshooting Azure-based infrastructure and services.Linux system administration, shell scripting, and automation (preferably python).Kubernetes cluster management, deployments, and troubleshooting.Kafka message queues, monitoring, and performance tuning.PostgreSQL database administration, query optimization, and backup / restoration processes.
  • Strong experience with ticketing tools like  JIRA, VFIRE  (or any SLA based incident handling tool) for incident and change management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and security compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • What is Nice to Have :

  • Experience in Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Exposure to cloud security tools and monitoring solutions.
  • Telecom domain knowledge with an understanding of network protocols.
  • Experience in Nokia Mediation.
