Role & Responsibilities :
- Achieve Revenue and Market Share Targets :
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Management :
- Identify and develop relationships with key accounts and potential customers.
- Set up product demonstrations, discuss technical solutions, and manage complex negotiations to secure contracts.
- Market Analysis and Strategic Planning :
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the Director of Sales, highlighting performance and strategic insights.
- Cross-functional Collaboration and Seamless Execution :
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, customer service) to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
- Partner with customers during the initial days of product usage to ensure faster adoption and a smooth handover to account managers, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field. An MBA from a reputable B-School is highly desirable.A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.At least 4-6 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in a B2B setting.Experience in SaaS or Logistics SaaS companies / start-ups is a plus.Excellent ability to communicate effectively and build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.TXO- 6364
