Job description

Drive cloud solutioning activities (AWS, Azure, Hybrid Cloud) for large, complex deals involving multiple service lines and technology domains.

Lead the translation of complex business initiatives into innovative business-technology solutions, ensuring consistency across traditional solution boundaries.

Collaborate with internal and customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand inefficiencies in clients' existing business processes and applications, recommending strategic solutions.

Support the Global Sales Lead by engaging with senior-level customers in early stages to help shape and design propositions and build the pipeline.

Ensure proposed solutions are fit for purpose, demonstrate clear value for money, and confidently explain them to CxO-level customers.

Lead bid teams, combining on-shore and off-shore solution architects, to design affordable, innovative solutions that meet client requirements and business needs within set affordability targets.

Define solution value propositions and transformational directions that leverage synergies and benefits across service offers.

Provide expertise on commercially structuring deals to differentiate from competitors, with an excellent understanding of the competitor landscape.

Work alongside Global Sales Leads to generate future pipeline opportunities.

Ensure proposed solutions cover strategy, partnerships (AWS, Azure, Google, Hybrid Cloud), stakeholder management, and encompass Business, Application, Infrastructure, and commercial value aspects.

Apply a consultative approach, strong business acumen, and commercial awareness to translate business issues into relevant technical solutions and competitive propositions.

Required Qualification

10+ years of progressive experience in a presales solutioning role, preferably with a Tier 1 / 2 Technology Services Provider or major Cloud Services provider.

Proven experience leading, costing, and implementing large, complex Infrastructure Technology Outsourcing (ITO) pursuits, preferably with a TCV of $50M+ and a significant technology transformation component (e.g., workload migration to Public Cloud, data center consolidations).

Strong proficiency in creating business-winning solutions aligned with key market growth areas such as Public / Hybrid Cloud and Cyber Security.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) and influence at the CxO level.

Hands-on work experience with large-scale implementations of Azure, Databricks, and GCP.

Experience migrating applications to cloud or hybrid technologies.

Container experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or other container orchestration platforms.

A proven record of thinking through, leading, and delivering high-quality solutions that can be used to communicate with senior stakeholders.

Sound business and technology knowledge with commercial awareness and an understanding of business functions (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, compliance).

A background in business and technology across the delivery lifecycle (e.g., solution design, roadmaps, TCO & investment submissions, governance, business and data analysis).

Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units and with outsourced development partners to achieve results.

Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects.

Effective problem-solving skills; the ability to analyze problems and develop actionable and appropriate plans quickly.

Ability to define Solution Architecture involving multiple products & Technologies.

Preferred Qualification

Experience and / or Certification : AWS - Solution Architect, Microsoft - MCSA / MCSE.

Preferred industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, Travel, and Manufacturing.
